Default back to my passenger side water leak

Well fall is upon us in the Pacific Northwest, so that is endless rain, and of course my a passenger water leak has returned.
  • The water falls directly behind the glove compartment, but not in the glove compartment.
  • It is a bit random, light rain does not usually have water inside. Heavy to medium rain does.
  • It is not a large amount maybe 1/4 of cup over 24 hours
Things I have done
  1. Sealed the top corner of the windshield
  2. Seal to top edge of the windshield cowl
  3. Sealed the passenger side finisher
Any suggestions where else to check ? Passenger side windshield seal from top to bottom ?

Is your cowl panel intact and unbroken? The water is coming i from the outside air intake below the cowl panel. If it is broken, you can fix temporarily by sealing the intake, I would recommend the adhesive carpet protector film sold at home depot. It is very thick, and very sticky. Think giant stretchy packaging tape.

@Extinct Good guess but I sorted that one this summer, this leak is literally almost dead center behind the glove compartment. Pulled the heater fan it is dry.

Looks like the passenger side windshield seal was not installed right:
  • pulled the cover
  • siliconed it up
  • Tuck taped the gap so I can get at easily if that is not the issue
