Bad Rover Dreams, Do you guys get them too?
Same here a 96 daily driver...
I just try and keep up with any major problems before they snowball..
And right now it's in pretty good shape...
But! I'm trying to talk down a guy with a fairly nice series 3
So I will have some sort of backup... Lol!

Some of you need to get some distance between you and your rover for a bit lol pick up a old piece of furniture and refinish it, maybe do some home repairs, hear is a real good one grab a fishing pole and go fishing!!! But you must use a different vehicle to get you to the lake. leave the disco behind for a couple days as its taking over your lives:-( its just a truck and your driving yourself nutz staring at it waiting for something to break.

I dont even drive mine on the weekends unless my wife is out of town. (or I'm off roading)
All repairs are done on Sat, if they cannot be completed in one day then I dont do them and I pay to have them done, which is very very rare.
Sunday is church and family day, no yard work, no car repairs, spend time with the wife and kids and the dog.
Life is to short to worry about a hunk of steel and aluminum.
You will go insane worrying about your truck and wondering what will break next and you will go broke chasing every noise, rattle and leak.
Just drive the damn thing.
Amen, Spike! My D2 is my daily driver/only car. I love working on it, but don't have the time or imagination to obsess over it. I'm active duty military with a million things going on constantly. My 3 year old daughter lives with her mom 10 hours away and any real free time I get is spent going to see her. And guess what I drive...yep, the Disco. It's been a faithful truck, both on high-mileage freeway drives and on the trails, for 4 years now. I keep up on maintenance, tinker on the weekends when I have the chance, and drive the crap out of it. All of that to say, 120k miles on it and no codes, amigo-free, and no real concerns **knock on wood**. I've been fortunate and I love my truck, but at the end of the day it's just a hunk of metal.
