Do you have a recommended brand for high flow cats? Is there a preferred vendor on eBay?

Thanks for all of the replies.

The officer that took the theft report told me that the thieves either sell them online, locally or bring them to the recyclers for cash.

Ill probably replace the whole Y section which might be the most cost effective. Would hate to just redo one side to have the other side go bad in short time.

I'd love to know where you're recycling cats at.

Hahaha, I have trouble getting $100 for 80s European stuff these days, giant, precious metal-heavy units. I would think something from these Discos would be about $50 a side, maybe even for the pair.

According to this site they can go up to $270 each unless Im reading it wrong. Im also in crazy California where they might pay a premium to recycle.

Reading this post had me thinking about doing some preventative research for WHEN the cats on our discos get stolen. It's been happening so much around here. It doesn't look like California compliant carbs exist online. At least already baked into the Y-pipe. Have any of you seen them around the webs?

I bought mine from Rock Auto and it was the complete Y pipe assembly. But I don't live in California. Where I am as long as they are present the the ECU says nothing is broken you pass.

search for a recent thread from a cali member who got carb compliant universals through one of the big part houses (advanced or autozone I believe).
