Sure sounds like something electrical, if it fired right up. I'd certainly stay close to home and check the fuel pump circuitry snd crank sensor.

Well the problem persists! Starts up no prob some times and just cranks other times. Once it fires up runs great. Took it to advanced auto and machine couldn't read battery. Girl was nice but not overly helpful. Reader just told her to re-adjust the connections. Any thoughts???

Well the problem persists. Saturday I started up drove about 15 mins between 30 - 45 mph. Parked car for about 4 hours, went out for lunch and it started right up. Drove around doing some errands suburban conditions. parked car for another 4 hours. went out to drive home and car would not start! Check engine and battery light stay on but car won't turn over. left car overnight and came back the next morning and it started right up. I am at a loss.

Okay. Shot in the dark ... the new battery made it behave. You drove it a few days and the problem returned. Are your headlights nice and bright? Do you have any means to check your alternator? I know, I'm stuck on the battery, but it did seem to fix it and I've gotten stuck before, got a new battery, then had the same issues again several days later (when the battery went dead again).

I took my alternator to a shop and there was a broken wire somewhere in the copper.

Another question out of left field....have you recently swapped from air bags to coils in the rear? If so did you have it programmed and remove the proper fuses and relays. I know if you don't, it will drain the battery QUICK!!! First hand experience here

Okay another shot in the dark. My battery kept dying over night and I found out that my new brake booster is a little shorter than the old one, meaning that the pedal doesn't reach the brake switch...

resulting in brake light being on continuously. For days.
