Need to replace my alternator, which brand is your choice for a replacement? have any considered or have experience with Advance's Carquest brand?

I've mentioned it a lot of this forum, but even I've tried the Search with poor results.

Any 99-04 D2 can use the 99-02 P38 Bosch 150AMP alternator. It is exactly the same minus the AMP's (P38 is 150AMP vs 120AMP Valeo or 130AMP Bosch units found in the D2).

Parts Player has been a good brand with new Alternators/Starters. I've also used a few Ebay unit's (installed into friends or customers LR's) and they worked great. It's the Auto Zone/Oreilly Auto Part unit's I've seen fail.

 

I installed a P38 one from Orielly auto parts
