Default Battery Low help; Doors won't open

D2 people, my 03 D2 Battery is almost dead.

​​​​​​I need any tips how to unlock doors (unlock key makes lights blink but not unlock)..
Steel key won't unlock door..

Can I get hood open (to charge battery) from outside?
If you've faced this any advice appreciated..

This is going to sound strange and this is probably not the correct way, but I have successfully done it. If you remove the passenger wheel lining and are flexible enough I was able to get charging cables on the battery from there. This will take some work and isn't quick but it can be done this way at home. Also to make more room you can take the rim off

You can also put a charger on the starter from underneath the truck. Attach the red lead of the charger or jumper cables on the larger of the two terminals on the starter and attach the black lead to the frame or any other suitable ground. That should get you power to unlock the truck with the keyless entry. Then, work on getting your key to work in the door lock. What happens when you try to unlock it with the key? Does the key spin in the lock or does it not turn at all?

This is probably the easier way. Anyway you wiggle the jumper cables onto the Positve terminal/cable remember to hook your rover up first with the other end of the leads disconnected and isolated.
