Default battery suggestions?

Any suggestions for battery? I would like to run a dual battery setup but my battery randomly died and I’m not sure I want to commit to that just yet . What’s the largest battery I can run. Or is it worth getting a smaller battery and maybe a few months down the road getting another equally small battery to run the dual. If I’m getting just one I’d rather get a cheap one with a decent warranty then take it out when I’m ready for the dual setup .

Barely keeping up anymore , I put the battery on charge fully charged it then disconnected the charger and the car had a slight struggle starting and no it’s not the alternator, the battery was accidentally drained completely last week , is also like 6 years old. With the electronic accessories going it’s only a matter of time till it gives I put it on a charger every night

Group 27 in whatever your favorite brand is. Go about 10 posts down. We beat this subject to death a few days ago

Why did you go with that instead of group 65?

try here... https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...ry-size-92862/

Also... verify that your alternator is charging the battery and that your battery connections are tight.

Is there any other Benifit to the 27? A 65 of the same price has higher amps

I was told by the regional guy for Interstate that the 27 was better. Even though the CCAmps were 40 lower, it had a higher reserve capacity and was built specifically for that. That is why the 27 is 6-7 lbs heavier. He also felt it had a longer life. This is for the Interstate brand.

Look at this chart. https://www.interstatebatteries.com/...-batteries/mtp

I personally use Group 65’s cheap & commonly found.
