Default BCU cloning ?

Hi, can someone help me ?
I have a friend with a land discovery 2 and he has a water damage inside his Bcu.
Now he has buy a new used Bcu.
In which eeprom are the key or Immo information ? (i will desolder and resolder and yes i can solder )

Hi, firstly I'm certainly no electronics expert but I thought an eeprom was a read only device not an I/O chip. To me the BCU is an I/O device where the inputs are stored for outputs on driving styles.

TIP: IMHO image all the ECU's, BCU, SLABS, EAT ECU, etc as you'll lose a lot of data should they flunk out at anytime later.

I don't have an answer to your question but I can tell you that I replaced my BCU with a used one a while back and it had to be paired using a hawkeye diagnostics tool. Took all of 2 minutes to do and it worked great.

for all, when you have the same problem.
Desolder the mcu 84 pip chin and sold on a new used, thats all, car start
