Default Bearmack t- stat

Looking at the bearmack website apparently they have good prices and ship to Canada with good rates found this 78 degree t- stat which is 172 f.
Anyone know if this is just a standard 180 ?

197-203F is not bad, but yes the true 78C Stamped stats were excellent.

I'm not sure I'm going changing things up running 197-203F, rather hold on to the 78C stamped unit as a backup for when something else goes wrong in the cooling system. I try not to go looking for problems as there's usually not too long a period of time before one finds me haha

agree but I’m changing out my expansion tank that’s leaking around the seams and it’s a good opportunity

I’m in Texas so my temps year round range from 182F-215F (215F is off road or a temp spike due to HVAC on full blast). The humidity is what gets me down here!

wow that’s quite a span
I find with the ac on and off-road temps are better due to the ac fan runing
i went last year on a hot humid day the bugs were so bad plus had my dog with me
shut windows and blasted ac for about 5 hours of trails
never went passed 205
