Mine runs between 195 - 200 during a 72-degree winter in HK.
Bought a 182-degree t-stat and ready to run it cooler to prevent blowing the vulnerable head gasket.

i think you already have a 180 degree.
If you had the oem you would be in the 210-225 range

Is that right?
Coolant temp. doesn't drop below 195 on motorway. I thought it'd drop below 190 on high speed.

ya mine are usually 195-198 on the highway
when I had the oem it was going into the 210-215

A normal 180 stat will run 188.5 on the freeway around 70 mph other than hills.

An improper or incomplete bleed of the cooling system will yield a 10 degree variance on the high side.

i never run that low in any condition with my warm weather thermostat 180

Got my new expansion tank and this thermostat installed stamped 78 c
now runs 188 on the freeway and idles 195-203
not bad Only difference between this thermostat and my warm weather 180 is when your moving it drops to 188 instead of the usual 197
