Default And it begins

whats up guys. Ok so I just bought this 2002 d2 with a 4.0 w secondary air injection vin code 5 so I bought it at an auction got a great deal or so I thought it’s super clean inside and out I noticed it was missing serpentine belt didn’t know why. Now I do I guess the water pump seized up and broke belt belt broke fan and fan broke radiator so a few hundred dollars later I’ve replaced water pump, thermostat, fan clutch and fan blades and radiator. I tried bleeding system seemed to work it’s great at idle moment I drive it or 2 mins in she starts to get hot. Also there’s a weird kind of chirping noise coming from passenger side of engine and I’m getting multiple engine mis fires. No water in oil and no oil in water please help. What to do next I tried pulling all spark plugs out and cranking engine didn’t see and water shoot out of the cylinders. Don’t know what to do please help point me in right direction

First, formatting helps a ton.

Second, do you have any dash lights or engine codes? Those would be super helpful.

Have you checked your spark plugs? Which cylinders are missing? Lots of issues can cause misses and engine codes will slim that down a lot.

For the squeaking, I'd guess one of the pulleys or accessories. You'll have to track down which. A screwdriver to your ear will do the trick.

You probably still have air in the colling system if you start to get hot that quickly when driving. Various people have come up with lots of methods for bleeding; search this forum to find them.

Oh yea sorry

first engine code is p1300 for multiple cylinder misfire.cylinder 4,6,8 misfire codes also.

as far as pulleys they have all been checked noise is coming from passenger side rear of engine not the front.

Oh and when I try bleeding the overflow tank bubbles allot Looks like air is returning threw the line that goes to throttle body plate causes overflow while I’m trying to bleed

Park the truck on a hill.

Open the bleeder.

You can eliminate all the pulleys by removing the belt.

Look at the manifold. If the exhaust is cracked, the two pieces can be rubbing causing noise.

Look for contact points, exhaust, driveshafts that could be rubbing.

If you're sure its the motor. Then perhaps a slipped bearing etc.

Engine off, and cold. Elevate the cooling tank. Only slightly incline the nose of the truck, you still want the bleeder higher than the radiator.

Take the bleeder valve off and start filling until coolant starts coming out of the bleeder. Put the valve back in real quick. Set the coolant tank back in place, top it off, put it's cap back on. Squeeze and shake the lines a little bit, open the bleeder valve again. More air will probably bleed. You can add coolant directly into the bleeder if it has any room for any.
thats pretty much it.

The SAI blower is located on the passenger side fire wall, have you ruled that out for making the noise you describe?

No I have not. Didn’t even think of the SAI blower motor
