No codes, but i would like to replace my catalytic converters. Do suppliers make sporty ones, or are they all the same?? Who has the best prices?

This is on my To Do list and I'd definitely get a Magnaflow like @Frank4 posted. There are also Magnaflow #99004M and #93689 models along with the #94105 model.

If you want to just cheese it, you can put a straight pipe in and install a set of o2 sensor spacers that will take the sensors out of the exhaust stream. Your ECU is only looking for a difference between the upstream and downstream sensor readings, so that will fool it.

Well, it's illegal and you'll never be able to pass inspection again, but if you're in an area where you aren't inspected on a regular basis (in MD, you only get inspected once) and they base emissions testing on your OBDII status, you should be fine.

The theft of catalytic converters is seriously on the rise. Here in upstate New York a group was arrested with a van full of catalytic converters; dozens. A friend of mine was one of the arresting officers. He shared that the thieves target SUVs and trucks do to the ease of getting under the vehicle and the larger size of the converter; more platinum and palladium. Does anyone have any great ideas (non-lethal) to deter would-be s###bags from cutting out our catalytic converters?
