Default Best coolant?

Well I'm getting close to having the head gasket job redone and wanted every bodies opinion on the best coolant to use. I was looking at peak global but it's not readily avaliable around me....go figure. I do want a pre mix and will be adding purple ice. I saw some on Toyota red and can get that easily. I'm in central Alabama so the temps vary. Give me some good advice guys and gals.

I will tell you which one is worst for this engines, Dexcool,!
The best one is anything else when you replace it every 2 years, (which will cost about half of a full tank of gas by the way),

There is no "best" coolant but there is a worst. Dexcool. I use good ol' Prestone from Walmart.

I question, however, why you want to use a pre-mix. My practice and the practice of many here is to flush the system with distilled water until virtually no anti-freeze color is visible (typically 2 to 3 cycles), then drain by dropping the lower radiator hose and filling with concentrate. That gets you very, very close to a 50-50 mix.

Well I have flushed the system then actually removed all the coolant back out compliments of the drain plugs n a shop vac. So I have a dry system right now with a new radiator n hose

I've still have Dexcool in mine, never had any problems with it. I changed it 4 years ago when I did the thermostat and hoses and again 2 years ago when I did the water pump. I think it works fine if you just change it every few years. I noticed that my new 2016 Can Am Outlander 1000 ATV has orange coolant in it. I figured it was Dexcool also.
