Default best fuse to pull to keep engine from firing

I need to dismantle for my oil pump project and wanted to know the best fuse that can be pulled to allow turning the engine to turn over but not fire. This would be for removing the crank bolt with breaker bar against frame. Thanks.

Just remove rubber plug that covers torque convertor bolts and slide a socket/extension through the hole into hole in flywheel. This will stop the crank from turning.

Then rotate crank counterclockwise until it stops turning and remove crank bolt. A lot safer than the option you're suggesting.

But, if you are he** bent on your way, fuse 14 or Relay 4 in drivers compartment fuse box.

Thanks for the tip. I did the breaker bar on frame method many years ago with a Isuzu Trooper. Worked and was kinda exciting, made lots of noise. I had my reservations this time. Thanks again.

He'll also have the oil pan removed to disconnect the pickup tube and in that case you can just stick a 2x4 up into the engine and stop the crank from rotating.
