Are you talking about the plastic panel on the door side of the footwell? If so I believe those are the correct fasteners.

sorry, to be clear, the passenger side foot well facia black card board piece that covers the blower amongst other things.

the top fasteners are the standard male push type. the bottom one is a female type that is either friction fit over a stud or is threaded on.

They aren't avail new anymore.

I just bought one on ebay for $45 or so which was a waste but it's good condition. Mine was completely thrashed. They show up on salvage cars and ebay from time to time. BTW I think that the part is the same D1, D2, RRC 1995. Not 100% sure but I do know RRC 1995 soft dash ppl use the D2 versions.

Thanks I know what you are talking about now. I think it’s the same fastener. I’ll check mine shortly and let you know.

You know, it seems that the British have an affinity for cardboard. Why can't someone take a panel off, and scribe on some black plastic a new improved panel?

Yes that is the correct part. Just need one for the center rear of that cardboard panel. As everyone mentioned it’s hard to find a decent one. I agree a plastic after market would be a lot better but not sure of the demand.

I used a threading coupling on the stud (car side) then ran a cap screw with a fender washer to hold the panel. So far working well
