Default best radiator? aluminum vs standard vs OEM

I have a small leak in my radiator so I want to replace that and do a full system maintenance before summer. So what is the best replacement?
I know race cars much more than rovers, and I know if you're doing a serious build, you go all aluminum.
Aluminum- we know it technically doesn't conduct heat as well as the brass internals of OEM, but the standard thinking is that the aluminum is considerably more durable and that the mild cooling difference is really negligible. I haven't yet found one of these, so if anyone has a good source, let me know.
Then it's generic vs. OEM. Any thoughts or experience here? Good brand name or source?
Thanks for the input.

Nissens.

I just replaced my entire cooling system and all the misc components. 180 degree t-stat, and a Nissens will immediately impress you.

174 on the hwy, 185 at idle, never seen it go above 194 climbing up the mountain I live on.

x4 Nissens is good quality. Failing that an all alu race quality rad but they ain't cheap. Alternatively the LR OEM but again they ain't cheap. The Nissens is probably the cheapest and the first port of call.

LMAO!!! Cheap piece of crap...

Oh..and buy your Nissens radiator from Rovers North or Lucky 8. They'll beat the price of the other eBay vendors (well, Lucky 8 advertises on eBay at $224; don't know if Zach can match that) and they support the Forum and Disco owners.

Duh, can't quite figure that one Zach, why was the Nissen rad at fault surely it was the water pump's fault followed by the fan
