So does anyone have a source on an all aluminum style anywhere? I can only find them for the TD5. Would that work?
Before saying "NO!", please say why not.
I just want to only buy one radiator forever, and the best way to do that usually is all aluminum, so I'm willing to pay more.

Do you have SAI? If not, you can probably find a good universal...and with a drain plug no less!!!

Default all aluminum

I saw this all aluminum line of radiators called tri max from Eastwood. Don't know if one of them would be a direct fit without minor attachment work.
It looks like the radiator would have more resistance to flow due to dividing the fins into three sections in series. Anyone have experience with the stock water pump driving this configuration?

Tri flow look good provided they do one compatible with the D2 V8. Their claims seem pretty amazing also. You would need the thermo dynamic spec of the existing D2V8 rad and compare that with the Triflow rad.

Admittedly, in the UK most D2 alu hi performance radiators are designed for the TD5 and very rarely the V8 unless you pay big money. Hmmm, that tells me something

I'm interested... Link me to the radiator you speak of.
I want a full metal bodied radiator, not plastic. Going for durability. I highly doubt the small cooling efficiency change to aluminum will have a notable cooling difference.

Also, what does sai have to do with a radiator?

Sai has a line to radiator. Most Any radiator for a d2 will have a plug in the location of this port. Leave it plugged for non sai and unthread the plug and replace it with the line if you do have sai

Looks great. How is the long term performance?
Also that link is dead, but I assume 16x28" low profile is what is needed.
"1 1/2" dia. lower right hose, and 1 3/4" upper left. " Are those the correct stock hose sizes? I see 1 3/8" for both.
I have SAI, what do I need to do with that?
This one?
