Default Best service in Denver area?

Hello all,

The 03 Disco I bought on Saturday just barely made it to Colorado from Texas. The service engine light came on along with some shuddering. Appears to be transmission fluid near radiator. Need to tow it to local shop in south Denver area. Any recommendations, or should I just go with the dealership?

Please help
Adam

Personally i like Jeff at JCrovers, He just moved to a new shop not to long ago. He's now currently located right next to high country 4X4 in englewood.

I went over and spent some time with Adam, found and fixed most of the problems as far as misfires and the tranny. Looks like He will still see Jeff next Tuesday for a rear pinion seal and p/s leak.

Turns out Disco Mike and I perform pretty good service right in my very own driveway Although I can be counted on to drop just about every other nut and bolt I touch, with the help of Mike, RAVE, and an extending magnetic thingamajiggy, we put the misfires to rest with new plugs (Platinum Plus 4) and coil packs keeping the existing Magnecor 8mm wires. Not to mention fixing the oil leak from the valve covers with a few turns of a wrench (those 8mm 12pts were looooose). We also threw in a new belt, and just this past weekend fixed my intermittent amigos and cleaned up the brake fluid. Sure, the power steering still drips a tad on the driveway, and the rear pinion needs to be addressed, but I am happy with the progress made on the "new" Disco. What a great feeling it is to go from disappointment with a $2700+ service estimate to fixing things on my own with the help from some very generous forum members (a borrowed Hawkeye and a whole lot of Disco Mike's time!) - HUGE THANKS! Now I pop the hood every night before bed - mainly because I like to look at my accomplishments...and look for any new leaks
