I did some searching and managed to find the RAVE manual, and it seems like a pretty nice manual.
I'm curious though, is the Bentley manual more complete/better? Does anyone have any experience with it?
When I had my VW, the Bentley manual was the authority on all service, and it definitely had more material in it than the Rave does...

 

Well considering that the RAVE manual is the EXACT same one the Land Rover dealership uses...you can waste your money on the other one if you want.

 

I always thought "How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive" was the authority.

 

The Rave manual is the Rolls Royce standard. The Bentley is a slimmed down version & is definitely inferior to the Rolls Royce. For the basics, it's ok - but incomplete in comparison.

 

i have the rave on my computer but im planing on getting the Haynes manual if they have one, or something tangible i can keep in the garage

 

The Haynes manual is good to keep in the car. It has most all the critical info in case you need it away from home.
At least for the D1, Defenders and Series Rovers.
