RE: best ski rack to hold a lot ?
help me a bit further please. I loved my yakima setup that I had on my toyota truck back in 94. I had extra long cross bars that hung over 6" or so on each side. I had racks that held 4 snow boards or 6 pairs of skis on each side. I'm wanting to duplicate that if possible.
Thanks

I use Yakima Low Riders
http://www.yakima.com/racks/rack-sys.../lowrider.aspx
with 66" bars -Yakima recommends 58" but I run a rack on one side and a box on the other. 66" is a little narrower than the body - about the width at the base of the windows... You could go with the 78" but then you are out there with at the width of the mirrors which could be a real problem with tree limbs, etc.
