What's the best type of headgasket?
Any particular brand better than the rest?

I like elring. victor reinz would be my second option. but they are probably all pretty much the same

Used elring last time - they lasted 50k. I put Victor's on this time. We'll see if they are better. They look identical.

Cometic are widely reported to be the best, but are expensive. More importantly, they appear to leak frequently. So I'd do a lot of research and probly point blank ask cometic about known problems before using them.
