BG is the best stuff to use hands down. Better then sea foam for fuel treatment and induction cleaning.

All there products are designed to be used on any engine.
Their 44K is a great gas additive to clean the carbon from the cylinder area. They also make and induction cleaner that Rovers can sure use. At some of the better shops, they will have flushing machine for things like the tranny and more importantly the engine crank case.
I have been using their products for going on 20 years.

I have read articles in newspapers saying that people do get better mileage after having a BG service done. This is actually going to a garage and having them disable the fuel system and injecting the stuff into the engine though, something that you can't do with the proper equipment. They seem to charge between $100 and $150. I bought some induction cleaner and 44k and just injected the cleaner with the engine vacuum. Probably not as good as having the garage inject it, but it was a lot cheaper.
