Is BG44K necessary if running top tier gas?

Hey guys, just wondering what your thoughts are on this. Is running a fuel additive like BG44K super necessary when running a top tier gas like Chevron/Shell 91?

I do a can of Seafoam every oil change. Not sure it is actually needed but I figure even though I always use Chevron Supreme 91 octane, it will help with the ethanol byproducts.
