For oil filters! Forget the little OEM filter. I prefer the Donaldson filter. And they're only $5.78 !!

I agree on the size but am not familiar with this filter, have you seen it on the latest oil filter comparsion tests that were recently released?

Don't know about the latest filter test, but I'm familiar with Donaldson. The company I work for uses their filters (air and oil) on our trucks. I did find that the micron rating on this filter is 20. On the wix it's 21. You can order the filter at any Truckpro center or Fastenal. I ordered mine from Fastenal as it was closer to me. They won't stock it and may give you a strange look, but just give them the filter number and they can get it for you.

Or you can walk into any NAPA and pay $6 for a NAPA Gold (Wix) oil filter and not have to order it.
1068 OEM
5151 oversized
Its $4 for NAPA's cheap filter.

Donaldson is a good filter.

I agree Wix is a good filter. I ordered 3 of the Donaldson's so now I have them available for the next 2 oil changes. I don't trust any of the parts stores around here to have anything I need.

The LR oil filter also fits many Fords and Mopar's so NAPA always has them in stock.
I have never had a problem walking in and finding the shelf full of the filter I need.*

The 51515 is probably used on more vehicles than any other filter.
