I should be good - I put a little Gas-X in the overflow tank.

Default no heat

My 16 Yr old son has a 2001 Land Rover Discovery 2
It puts out little to no heat
we did the head Gaskets New water pump and Radiator ( the last owner had put head gasket sealer in the Radiator to fix the Head gasket problem I think this clogged the radiator
could this have clogged the Heater core as well and it there a way to flush it good enough with out taking it out ( very big Job)
Thanks

I just flushed mine. It was a piece of CAKE!! Disconnect both hoses from the firewall connection to metal water pipes that run along top of engine.

Use a garden sprayer that you can hand operate. Mine had a nozzle that perfectly fit the rubber hose and made a tight fit.

When I first tried to blow through it built up pressure and would not budge either way. Finally it started to flow free. I continued to blow water back and forth until it was free flowing either way.

When done, hook back up hoses to pipes and bleed system by lifting the coolant overflow tank as high as you can and fill through bleeder plug until water/coolant flows out of bleeder plug.... Then enjoy your heat!!

You may have to burp it more than once to get air out.
