Default Blinking service engine soon light & vacuum leak

Hello,

I have a 105k 2001 Disco II. The service engine light just came on and is blinking. I have the codes they are P0300, P0302, P0303,P1300, P1590.

I am attaching a picture of a hose that had a leak in it that I have electrician taped up until the a new hose is ordered. If someone can tell me what hose it is to order a new that would be great. I think the codes may be due to the SAI... Also the car starts fine but sounds like a muscle car when idle.

Any help is appreciated.

thanks

Do you have any other lights on other than the blinking service engine light. The reason that I ask is because p1590 is an ABS related code and I don't believe it has anything to do with your engine.

Your leaking hose has nothing to do with your misfires on 2 and 3, when did you last do a tune up along with new 8 mm plug wires?

That hose is lo longer available from land rover. I broke mine while doing my HG, and fixed it with some copper tubing. It's not pretty, but it works.

Figure it out for your self. Cooper pipe is available at any hardware store as id good PVC piping, use your imagination.

As for the wires, go to British Parts of Utah and buy a set of 8mm STI wires for $70.

You can buy 3/4" copper tube and 2 elbows at any hardware store, HD, Lowes, etc. PVC would probably work fine too, but I had a piece of copper at the house laying around. The copper fits into the rubber coupling at the hard pipe, and slips over the hard plastic corrugated tubing at the pump. little bit of right stuff, and some electrical tape, and your done. I may wrap the whole thing in wire loom or something to make it prettier.

As for plug wires, I used 8mm Kingsbourne wires, for $35.
