Both are good shocks, the Bilstein's are 1/2' shorter so if you ever go for a lift that will limit you a little.
Bilstein also states their shocks can't be used with ACE which made me go to OME, and after 6 years I would never use any other shock.

You know I caught that also about the ACE and then emailed LandRovers North (they sell them0. They said they would fit and work so I am wondering why they are listed as not for ACE. I thought perhaps they would be perceived as being too stiff in conjunction with ACE but I am speculating here.


I don't know why Bilstein says what they do regarding the ACE other then the valving may be slightly different. All I know for sure is that the OME's work well with ACE>
