Default And a blower motor question

About a month ago the blower motor quit in my 99D2. WHen I got after it I discovered that it was actually the connector. It was melted pretty significantly and inn the process of wrigglin it to fre it the blower started. The connector got very hot very quickly though, I assume it is crudded up in there and causing undo resistance. My plan is to cut the connector out and wirenut the leads back togather.

Anyone else have any input?

Make sure your blower motor is not drawing too many amps, as in it is wearing out.
