Blown Head Gasket?
Extinct, thanks for the reply. Could you please note exactly where you see the external leaks? By external, I presume you mean combustion gases to the atmosphere... not the coolant system. Or maybe coolant leaks to the atmosphere? Thanks!
Looks to me like you got some seepage on the drive side rear piston, based on the white on the piston and valve. Looks to me like just a bit of steam cleaning. If you look at your driver side photos the one valve is a lot cleaner than the rest,as is the matching piston.
I could be wrong not an expert here but that is what it looks like to me

Thanks, Extinct and Richard Gallant. I'm checking the block and was wondering what size feeler gauge to use. Lowest I had was a .004", but read on this forum to use a .002 for the heads. I presume the same for the block? .002 is a good bit smaller than I'm used to using.
@Troy_Less from another source
from new RR says the reface limit = 0.50mm (0.02 in) from new dimension.
To check the new dimension (cylinder head at each end)
Engine numbers without suffix B
A = the lower part of the head = 23.9mm (0.94 in) Where the head bolts are)
B = the upper part of the head = 63.5mm
Engine numbers with suffix B
A = 22.94mm (0.903 in)
B = 65.56mm (2.463 in)
You can check if the head is warped with a very good straight edge.
for warping. across centre and from corner to corner.
Max warp = 0.05 mm (0.002 in)
Have you done this sort of work before? there are lots of things to consider..
