Clarkson will be back in the fold soon. So I need an additional OBDII diagnostic tool. I was banging around and found the Blue Driver BT OBDII scan tool. It was discounted for under $100. Next I bought an older, refurbished iPad mini for dedicated OBDII use, so I don’t tie up my phone, and a mounting case for my Joy Factory mount. I messed around and came up with a light weight mounting option for the cup holders. They should hold up. If not I’ll figure something out.

The features and the gauge display of the Blue Driver look pretty slick and it got good reviews… out of over 30K reviewers. So what the heck, I’m trying it.

Everything should arrive in the next few days and I’ll report back once I get it sorted.
