I’ll take the truck in, I’m seeing if getting the interior and bcu dry will solve the issue right now. Fortunately I live 45 minutes away from one of the best non dealer Land Rover shops on the west coast.

Default Mileage incorrect

My Indy just replaced my BCU on 04 DII and everything is working well but my mileage jumped 40k miles obviously reading whatever from the old BCU. Is there a way to fix only this mileage issue? My Indy says he tried and couldn’t. Thanks

Sounds like he synced the IC to the BCU, can't unring that bell. You can search for a IC with similar mileage to yours and swap it in and have him sync the BCU to the IC, or turn off the flashing (due to mismatch) with a nanocom

I know it's a long shot here as this is an old thread, but I'd like to know if the OP @Ssdaniels ever had any resolution to this? I have been dealing with the same situation for a while (central locking issues); have replaced multiple latches, etc., to no avail.

I'm thinking to send to Carlrova in the UK. I DO have a nanocom, but I'm not sure I want to deal with the potential of adopting more issues from a part with unknown quality. And there's the issue of the odometer, etc.

So I'll give this a big "BUMP".

Easier to swap in a matched bcu/ecu from a breaker/ wrecking yard. You can either keep your ic and turn off the flashing odo with the nanocom or if the donor vehicle is lower mileage just sync it to the bcu.
