Default Bolt / thread size for heater pipe to intake

EDIT: Solved!

Re: the post below ... The bolt is an M8 x 1.25 standard, and I bought a pretty short one. No need to go long.

Hey all,

I am putting the finishing touches on a Disco 2 head gasket replacement. I am wondering if anyone knows the bolt size / thread for the bolt that secures the heater pipe to the lower intake manifold.

I have a bolt that seems to go in half way then has a lot of resistance and I think the threads may be messed up. So may have to re-tap. Just want size and threads to make sure, if anyone knows.

I know securing this pipe is pretty important. Replaced the O-ring on it.

Thanks

Default Solved -- needed to re-tap threads

Hammered on a socket to the 8mm x 1.25 tap because the handle wouldn't fit in the space. If I had the rocker cover and upper intake off, it would be doable with the tap handle. Thankful to the Rover gods that I didn't need to heli-coil it.
