Just got 4 Bosch O2 sensors (part # 13927) plug ends are different. Upon looking on line I see 2 types of ends. Are these the wrong sensors or are there different ends? These will fit but do not clip in. Does anyone have the correct part # for the Bosch O2 sensors?

 

O.o i am glad that I saw this before i ordered mine. When disconnecting the sensor from the wiring harness on the driver side pre cat O2, is it easier to go up from below the rover or down through the open hood?

 

what are you driving? a D1 or a D2?

in 97 D1's the O2's are vin specific. if the vin falls before VA350102 its one type of connector if its after and has Advanced Evaporative Loss (AEL) then its a different connector. where does ur vin fall?

 

Havent I heard that you slice the bosch sensors on?

 

VA556100 so it is after and I assume the AEL system then?

 

yes you have AEL. so now check to make sure the O2's you have are for AEL, my guess is they are not and thats why the connector seems to be wrong.

That is for UNIVERSAL o2 sensors (Bosch or otherwise). You still need to know how many number of wires when using unis.

 

I sent the sensors back. I do not know if the part # 13927 is for the AEL System. I have the old sensor out and it has a part # of SAGEM 04LS001 and below that is NTK Japan 4LS. I did a search for the NTK 04LS001 and found a site that said it was the same as Nissan Part # 22690-85E10.

I still have no idea what the proper Bosch cross # is in this case. If it is the 13927 then the connectors must be spliced etc. and I am not about to do that. If I wanted to splice connectors I would have bought some cheap universal ones and started banging my head against a wall.
