Default Bosch O2 vs Other

Bosch O2 vs other brands: Is another reputable brand like a Walker O2 sensor an acceptable OE replacement?

I’ve seen posts that indicate Bosch only, and others that say a new O2 is better than an old regardless of brand.

Does anyone have personal experience they can share to help clear things up? Thanks!

I think walker has a good name around here.
rock auto has the walker for $35 and bosh for $57 Canadian. Dirt cheap

Walker, Denso, NTK, and even Delphi have worked well for me besides Bosch.

We say Bosch-only for MAF sensors and CKP sensors, but other brand O2 sensors have been okay for many. I've had a handful of Bosch O2s that were bad out of the box. Others haver reported the same. Walkers get a lot of praise.

Awesome info. I figured walker had a pretty good reputation from what I can tell. I’m going with the Walkers. Thanks for the feedback!

My truck only likes the O2 sensors that come from the factory. I have tried aftermarket from Atlantic British and it immediately threw an O2 code for both rear sensors. An expensive phone call later, the factory sensors took care of the issue
