Default Are the bosch oxygen sensors direct fit?

Hello all,
I have a CEL and had my codes read. As it turns out two of my oxygen sensors are bad. Since the truck has over 130000 I am going to replace all of the sensors at once. I know rover connection has them for $65 a piece but my local auto parts guy can get me the bosch onces (they say they are direct fit for the disco 2) for a little bit cheaper. So, my question is are the bosch sensors really a direct replacement? Are the sensors that come from the factory made by bosch. If they aren't bosch would there be any difference between the two brands. Thanks alot for the help

BOSCH is OEM.

Ok, sorry for the short answer, direct fit means that it has the correct plug on the end. So you plug it in and go.
In my opinion there is no difference from one O2 to another. As long as it is a name brand. The assbrand ones will work but not last as long.
NGK, DENSO, BOSCH are all brands usedas OEM's.

Hey thanks for the info spike. Another question I have is that I have heard that there is some sort of delay while the truck learns how to adapt to the new 02s. This might be completely bogus, but if it is true is there any special programming the the truck needs or are they just plug and play. Also, is there anything special I should know about changing them out? I am going to borrow the loaner 02 tool from advanced auto, and as far as I know they just twist out, but I want to make sure before I dive under there and start changing them. Thanks in advance.

Another guy on here said that it you idle the engine for 15 min before you start that they will come right out. They rust and can be a real bugger to get loose.
Unplug the wire harness before you try to unscrew them.
Yes the ECU will have to relearn the new O2's. But its no big deal.
Once you put the new ones in reset the CEL and just drive it like normal.
The new ones will come with a high temp anti-seize for the threads, do not touch the tip of the new ones if you can help it.
Its not a tough job, just unscrew the old ones and screw the new ones back in.
And just a FYI, you always replace all the O2's at the same time. I know that you are, and thats good. But some dont, and that is bad.
