well we found a 2001 disco and picked it up :-)
work that has been done on it already :-)
new gaskets on head and exhaust manifold
New battery
New alternator
New starter
New power steering pump and lines
And fairly new tires
and recent state inspection
and he had the frame checked and fixed where needed.
And I have all the receipts of work done and parts too

Cons so far after a few days
3 amigos showed up after breaks started squeaking
headliner sagging
1 ignition key and ignition key on column a bit worn
rear jump seats levers stick
drivers side heated seat not working it seems
and engine oil dipstick needs to be replaced but have new one for it
paid 3k for it up here in Maine

with the work that has been done and from what I have read so far we figured it was not bad of a price. The 3 amigos where not present when I looked at 3 different times. but is now after we drove it a bit hard the past few days :-)

And we really really love it even if we need to put a few more bucks into it.

Just need to get a code reader for it now :-)
but with all the post about it I ma confused as too which ones really work and such.

iCarsoft i930 this scanner not only reads & clears DTCs, but also reads and clears ABS and SRS. on line about $130.00.
There are many different scanners around even bootleg stuff but that usually requires a computer to run.
