that is what I thought, I just went to verify with a magnet. The hood is what I'm most worried about. We've had a lot of potential hail producing weather around here lately.

Yeah, it's redneck, but you won't be replacing your hood (unless its so bad that you'd be replacing your windshield and getting dents in the steel roof anyway). Sure, you might get it in the side panels, but the hood is what will get most likely damaged.

My 03 is in the garage... I'd probably have put the 99 in too.... but it doesn't move on it's own yet.
The rain did let up a bit, but still no solution. I think my next step will be to remove the ECU and BCM and make sure they aren't full of water or ashes or something.
One weird thing I noticed today is that the scanner says that the inertia switch is "triggered" but that seems strange, because all of the doors lock, and I can hear the fuel pump running, and the engine actually starts, and then dies. I think I might jump the switch and see if the scanner says something else. I checked my 03 and it says "set" for the inertia switch.
