Default Brake caliper removal 97 Disco I

I need to pull the front rotors and it looks like the hard line from the caliper and the flex hose attach together through a fitting that is attached to the back cover. The not-so-clear manual makes it sound like there is a way to pull the caliper up without seperating the brake line. Anybody know if that is possible and how? I know about bleeding off the fluid through the bleeder screw when I move the pistons. I just didn't want to have to bleed the brakes if I didn't have to. Thanks for the help!

Why are you needing to do this work, are you doing a brake job, if so you have to do a full brake bleed if you want to maintane your brake system.
