Default Brake issue

I had to change the rear brakes on my '01 Disco. When I got the pads off this is what I found.. The driver side where in pretty good shape (actually contemplated not changing them. On the passenger side.. well this is where it was weird. The inner pad looked good like the driver side, but the outer was completely gone.. I don't know what this means. my back tires have been wearing on the inside at an incredible rate. Any thoughts?

Curious. Im not sure how inside tire wear and brakes could be related but... Any rear wheel bearing noises or anything?

You have either a caliper sticking or the slide pins need to be replaced and greased, or your caliper is sticking and needs to be rebuilt or replaced, either way you will most likely need 2 rear rotors and a good set of brake pads like Akebono ceramic pads along with a full 2 quart DOT 4 brake flush

not that i've heard. everyone is puzzled by the wear that I've had look at it. they say with the axel being solid that shouldn't be happening. I've been getting used tires like every two to three months for about a year now. I'm probably gonna have to bite the bullet and go to land rover. Oh and my TC light is on.

An alignment shop can give you ideas on the tire wear cause after looking at them. if it's something like a bent axle they can check for out of spec measirments.

What air pressure are you running and how often do you rotate your tires? To have both axle tubes bent it would take an act of God. I bet the tires were warn when on the front axle and have just continued to wear on the rear.

Incorrect tire pressure won't cause uneven wear between inside and outside. Only uneven between shoulder and center.
