Default brake light switch fixed the problem, a little to well..

So i put in the new brake light switch that i ordered, and now the brake lights are always on? I know it's not the switch itself, because it's the second replacement one. as soon as i put the keys in and turn it on, all but the passenger side brake lights come on. So i don't even have to put my foot on the brake to shift out of park now. Any ideas?

make sure the little plastic plunger is pulled all of the way out. Mine was like this when I got it, I ordered the switch, it was wrong, so I investigated further. The little plunger that controls the switch was pushed in too far. Press the pedal down with your hand and pull the plunger out to meet the pedal...
