Default Brake lights

my other post is locked ??

Ok so I have double checked the fuses and all are good. Installed a new brake switch from lucky 8 the oem one.
All the other lights work, reverse lights parking lights and turn signals.
also cruise control no working. And no problem with the shifter moving between gears.
no trailer lights installed and the connector looks clean also.

so where do I go next ??

I'm still going with the brake switch. New means nothing anymore especially from L8..
I jumped the wires at the connector the green/orange and the green/purple and no change, did notice the drivers side parking light is dimmer than the passenger side also. Also replaced the fuse too for it too just to check, and tried jumping the wires again and no go.

Ok so i have tried this today
tried jumping the green/orange and the green/yellow. this time with key one :-( my mistake last night no key on. So jumping the two I do hear the solenoid thump at the gear shift but sill no lights on.
Tried also jumping purple / blue on for the cruise control and no brake lights (but that is what I would think anyway). Now looking at this diagram I see it goes to connector /header 287? question is is the word header in this diagram mean connector?
to me this might be the other spot it could be but where is it located?
