For a change…Figured I’d post some good news on this forum!
After a couple of years starting with HG failure, been chasing error codes. Many errors discovered sometime later found caused by the wiring harness being pinched. Thanks to the nearby British Mechanic for finding that! Remaining 1171 error resolved by replacing Intake manifold gasket, injector seals, determined after smoke test.

In my experience, this forum is exceptional. I've joined forums for four or five other makes/models of vehicles (mine, relatives, friends) and none of them come close to this DII forum. I also still check out a couple other DII forums that were once very active, but participation there has dwindled to the point where they are barely relevant. This forum is a Godsend.
