Question brake noise

Okay, so i replaced the brake pads on all four tires this past week. i have had the truck for almost a year now and i am still finding out that the previous owner did not do any maintance to the truck at all while they had it. anyway, the old pads were worn down to almost nothing. I put the new pads on and everything works great but the problem i am having is that they sometimes still squeal. I mostly notice when i pull up next to something like in the drive thru they get loud. Anyone got any ideas on what is should do or check? the rotors looked good when i replaced the pads.

Did you apply lubrication to the caliper pins, and all places the brake pads contact the caliper? The main cause of noise on brakes is from vibration, and the lubricant helps with this.

Where did you buy the pads, what brand are they and are you getting black brake dust on your front wheels?

Also, did you clean all your mating surfaces. (Pad to caliper)

There is your problem, Disco 2 ABS units need high end, dustless pads. Akebono ceramic pads are by far the best.
