I've got an '01 Disco II with 95k and I trying to remove the front rotors. Does anybody have an idea what size and/or shape the locking screw is. It looks like a phillips but I can't find a big enough screwdriver, the #3 will strip it. It also could take a square drive but again I can't find one big enough. I'm at the point of getting a hex key and grinding down two of the points.

Any help ould be appreciated. js

I had good luck with an impact driver set. It can be used for nuts, bolts or screws. My set came with a large phillips that fit just right. Here is a link to a similar tool.
