I purchased A 96 disco about two weeks ago w/some miles and then some.Anywho i have to crank on ignition for 10- 15 sec.to start from cold ,when she's been running she starts right up he one diferent thing about this is that theresa strong odor of gas when started (injectors?) .Again i love this vehicle, I just want to be able to start it. You all seem to be very smart when it comes to LR's! Sincerely wiseguy.

 

Sounds like it is time for some tune up maintance. Plugs and wires, clean out the throttle body, check for vaccum leaks, decarbon the engine, flush the crank case and run some GOOD gas additive thru the injectors.
