Brief Intro & Wheel Sizing Q

Brief Intro & Wheel Sizing Q
Hello All,
As this is my first post, I figured I’d give some quick background before getting in to my question.
I picked up an ’01 Disco a few weeks back, to replace my rally modded Subaru WRX as my daily driver. I have always loved the look and lines of the Discovery, and am very happy to now have my own. My first mods were tint, Optima Yellow Top,roof rack, stereo upgrade (gotta have my iPod hook up), a Borla exhaust and AFO cold air intake. Next up...wheels and tires...then lighting!
Although they look nice, I am not a "big wheel" guy. So, it's time to part ways withthe19” LR wheels.
I picked up a set of 16x8 5 spoke wheels on eBay, and they are currently at the powder coater, getting a fresh coat of flat black:
They will be going on this:
The black against the gold should look pretty mean. Anyway...
I have been sifting through posts, and looking over tire recommendations as well. I’m 99.9% sure that the General Grabber AT2’s will be my tire of choice. However, I’m not quite sure of sizing. I won’t be adding a lift, so I wanted to make sure I got the best fitting size for my application. I’m guessing 255/65/16, but I thought I’d turn to the real experts first.
Any input on this? I tried Tire Rack, but the search said that they had no info on 16” 2001 wheels. Just wanted to make sure I nabbed the right size!
Thanks in advance! I can’t wait to tool around the site when I have more free time!

RE: Brief Intro & Wheel Sizing Q
Thanks for the info gents! I will most certainly take some pics of the finished wheels.
They are running me $55 per wheel, for a chemical strip, sand blast and coat. The same company has coated 4 sets of wheels for me thus far, and they look great each time.
Cheers,
rob

Here's a link for the OEM 16" sizes from TireRack if you're still interested. (255/65)
