I think some will pay to have a well sorted and unmolested Discovery even if the motor is original. You can always find a motor but you can’t always find the truck. Now, if this thing hits 19-20k I will be surprised.

I still kinda laugh at the whole low mileage car thing. I've seen plenty of low mileage vehicles = crap over the years. I also live in TX so just driving around = miles add up quickly. I personally go by how a vehicle is maintained no matter what the mileage.
You can be lazy and barely do oil changes, never change brake pads, fluids, or tires, and then just sell it with the big selling point being low mileage vs a higher vehicle that's been extremely well maintained and cared for. If given those two choices I'll take high mileage models any day! I especially do this with LR's.
Not saying that is true with every single low mileage vehicle, but it something to certainly consider. This D2 looks great and I'm happy to see prices going up for pristine examples.
