Default Bubbles in coolant reservoir

I have a new problem maybe on my D2. I drained and refilled my coolant system this past weekend as regular maintenance. Removed the bleed screw open, added collant untill it ran out of the bleed screw hole, repaced bleed screw, started engine, turned on heat and topped off reservoir till it was full,(actually added a little too much coolant because it ran out of the overflow tube)replaced cap. I drove it on Monday about miles with no overheating, gauge stayed in the middle the entire trip. I opend the hood earlier today to check the coolant level and it was a little below half full which was strange because I never have had to add coolant before. I started it up to let it run some and immeditaly noticed what looked like bubbles coming up from the bottom of the tank. I have never noticed this before but really have not never really looked. Could I not have gotten all of the air out of the system?
Little history on the D2, I purchased it with a cracked block, I purchased a engine out of a D2 that had been wrecked with 115K miles, I had the head gaskets repaced since the engine was out,new head bolts and other gaskets required for the HG change out.I used the heads off of the engine with the cracked block because they had been surfaced, cleaned and had a fresh valve job. I have around 250 miles on it with no problems, temp hand stays dead in the center always, even today while I let it idle for a while.

Thanks,Craig

You most likely have a blown head gasket venting into the coolant. Send me your number and I can walk you thru what to do.
