Default Budget Boost Lift kit

My local landie parts dealer told me he has the Heavy duty factory coils which will supposedly give me around 2" but the price diffrence of between those and Old Mans is quite small. ANybody tried the factory coils.

Also is there anyway to lift the disco on a budget and am not intrested in spacers . Is there any other 4x4 with inter changeable coils and which will give a lift. I know If you swap the rear coils to the front you get a slight lift but how much I dunno. Now the question is what do I plonk in the rear..any ideas ?

I had OME in my old disco and had atleast 3 " of lift but now every one is saying here that OME will get you only around 1 - 1 1/2 inch .Whats up with that.

I actually want OME but the local ARB dealer is being an *** recently

Forget your local dealer. just order it online. Cheaper ,no tax and usually cheaper then local shops.

Willie

This place has some springs for you.

Stay away from the factory coils, they won't give you any lift just extra load capacity.
Go with the OME. How much of a lift do you want, will you be running metal bumpers, a winch or sliders? There are 4 different OME coils depending on what you want.

Was it a D1?

I have the OME HD springs 779/762. They are almost 3 years old and I have barely a 1.15" lift (1 inch up front/1.25" in the rear). They give a Great ride though. I have a 1.25" body lift so I could fit the 33s
