went to change bulb in front passenger side signal and found that the bulb holder had burnt dew to water contact. was able to obtain bulb holder easily, however wiring harness bulb holder connects to was also burnt where the pins connect. have had no luck locating this at any independant land rover part supplier, is this an item a dealer is likely to carry?? or any other suggestion?

I have a D1, so probably different, but the rear bumper cap was ripped off along with the the connector. I went to LR and they wanted $7 for the lens and $43 for the wiring harness/ bulb holder.

If you can, I would solder/heat shrink/liquid tape the connection. Call the dealer and price the harness. You might also call the guys at www.roverlandparts.comThey are reasonable..
